A great martial art for children

Hapkido classes can be an important part of your child’s life, offering a comfortable environment for physical improvement, mental and social development and the opportunity to learn self defense.

Hapkido training can introduce a healthy, active lifestyle to your child.  Cardiovascular health (heart strength and the body’s ability to deliver oxygen to all of its cells) can be improved with endurance training in martial arts.  Bone and muscle strength will also improve with regular training.  Agility, balance, flexibility, reflexes, co-ordination and speed are also fundamental components of a good martial arts program.  Keeping children active may help prevent many health problems in the future including maintaining a healthy body weight.
